REVIEW - Robo Force from Toyfinity


I have a lot of ideas about things I'd like to see take place. Some creative, ambitious person then enters the scene and makes it happen before me! This is exactly what Toyfinity is doing with a new line of buildable robot toys. They've resurrected a classic — if somewhat failed — line and brought it up to speed with a new twist.

Robo Force, by Ideal appeared in the mid 80's then dropped out of sight as Transformers cornered the robot toy market. Nevertheless, they always held a certain quirky, blocky sort of appeal. Toyfinity's project takes the characters and designs of that old line and breathes new life into it by incorporating a universal joint system which allows for interchangeable parts.

What's more, this system, "Glyos" (by Onell design), has a lot of support from other preexisting toy lines. That gives fans a whole world of building options and parts to choose from. So what's it like to get your hands on these new Robo Force toys? Watch and see:
